A charity ball hockey tournament on behalf of the Release Recovery Foundation
Hi! My name is Amanda Fazio, or Faz, as many people in my life call me. Last year, I held this charity tournament to fundraise my part to run the 2024 London Marathon on behalf of the Release Recovery Foundation. While the tournament did not fully go as planned last year, and I won't be running any marathons this time around, I still wanted to do something special with the NYC ball hockey community. I'm excited to share the Release Foundation's mission with you, and of course play some competitive hockey and crown a champion!

What: 5 v 5 Co-Ed Ball Hockey Tournament ::
When: Saturday, March 29, 2025
Time: 10am to 6pm ET
Location: Tompkins Square Park, New York City
Cost: $40 per player
All teams are guaranteed 3 games and must provide at least one referee
T-shirt provided with registration

Buy a penalty shot!
A new feature for 2025...
Once per game at a captain's discretion, your team can buy a penalty shot for $50. This can occur at anytime in regulation play, but excludes overtime and playoff games.

About Release Recovery
The Release Recovery Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to ensuring all who are ready and willing to seek professional treatment are able. Substance use disorder and mental illness destroys the lives of too many people from underserved communities who may not have the resources for proven treatments. The Release Recovery Foundation offers scholarships to bridge the gap between what people can afford and what they need to transform their lives, regardless of race, gender, and/or sexual orientation.
We need volunteers!
